Annual event speeds admissions process for fall semester transfer students and adult learners
Individuals interested in finalizing transfer to ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ State University for the fall semester are invited to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions’ Transfer and Adult Learner Document Drop-Off Day on Thursday, May 24.
Who: Transfer students who have earned 30 or more credit hours from an accredited college or university, or adult learners who graduated from high school more than five years ago or have earned less than 30 hours of transferable college credit are invited to attend.
What: Transfer and Adult Learner Document Drop-Off Day is a daylong event for transfer students and adult learners to bring required admissions documents – such as official college and high school transcripts, immunization records and lawful presence verification – to ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ State to finalize the application process for fall 2018 enrollment. Admissions counselors and registration specialists will be on hand to help prospective students and answer questions about the University.
Transfer students who finalize all admissions requirements during Document Drop-Off Day will be provided an admissions decision by May 30. The deadline to apply for admission to ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ State for fall semester for transfer and adult learner students is June 15.
Nearly 3,000 students transferred to ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ State for the 2017-18 academic year, with many coming from Chattahoochee Technical College, Georgia Highlands College and Georgia Gwinnett College after earning associate degrees.
