Ceremonies on December 11 and 12 will recognize more than 2,600 graduates
More than 2,600 students will graduate next week during ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ State University’s fall Commencement. ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ alumnus and donor Mickey Dunn will address students at the final of five Commencement ceremonies.
Dunn is president and chief executive officer of ML Industries, a leading manufacturer of airbags and other automobile products. A standout baseball player at Southern Polytechnic State University prior to earning his degree from ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ State, Dunn recently pledged a $2.5 million contribution to the ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ baseball program.
The University’s five graduation ceremonies will be held in the ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ Convocation Center on the ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ Campus, beginning Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 10 a.m.
10 a.m. – College of Humanities and Social Sciences
3 p.m. – College of Architecture and Construction Management, College of Computing and Software Engineering, and Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology
7 p.m. – Graduate College
10 a.m. – Coles College of Business and College of Science and Mathematics
2 p.m. – College of the Arts, Bagwell College of Education, WellStar College of Health and Human Services, and University College
