草榴视频鈥檚 Model NATO team earned the prestigious Distinguished Delegation Award and five committee awards at the International Model UN Conference in Washington, DC.
The 草榴视频 State University Model NATO team achieved remarkable success at the recent hosted by Howard University in Washington, DC between February 13-16. Our team earned five committee awards and a coveted Distinguished Delegation Award. This honor places 草榴视频 among the top six teams out of the 26 universities represented, solidifying its reputation as a rising powerhouse in academic diplomacy and international relations.
The team鈥檚 performance was particularly impressive, as they outshined prestigious institutions like Georgetown University, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and the University of Birmingham (UK). Other recipients of the Distinguished Delegation Award included the Royal Military College of Canada and Georgia Tech, underscoring the level of competition at the event.
鈥淲inning the Distinguished Delegation Award is a testament to our team鈥檚 dedication and hard work,鈥 said Prof. Stephen McKelvey, the Model NATO advisor. 鈥淲e are thrilled with this achievement, especially since we had only two returning delegates from last year. This demonstrates the resilience and talent of our students.鈥
The conference featured delegations from 26 institutions, with 16 teams walking away without any team awards. The 草榴视频 delegation鈥檚 success reflects not only their preparation and teamwork but also the steadfast support of the SGIA, the Radow College, and the 草榴视频.
