The 16th Dewald Roode Workshop on Information Systems Security Research will continue the efforts to advance the discipline of information systems security through the creation, dissemination, and preservation of well-formed research. The workshop is the annual event for .

The workshop is hosted by ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ State University and will take place on October 4-5, 2024 at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Center in ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ, GA.

Selected accepted papers will be invited to submit an extended version to a Special Issue of the Organizational Cybersecurity Journal: Practice, Process and People.

²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Center is located at 3333 Busbee Drive, ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ, Georgia.

  • If you are coming from South of ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ (Atlanta, Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, etc.):

    Take I-75 N toward MARIETTA / CHATTANOOGA.
    Take the CHASTAIN RD exit, exit number 271.
    Turn RIGHT onto CHASTAIN RD NW.
    Turn RIGHT onto BUSBEE DR NW.
    Turn RIGHT into the parking lot immediately past the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Center sign.

    If you are coming from North of ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ (Cartersville, Rome, Jasper, etc.):

    Take I-75 S.
    Take the CHASTAIN RD exit, exit number 271, toward I-575 N.
    Turn LEFT onto CHASTAIN RD NW.
    Move to your right hand lane on CHASTAIN RD.
    Turn RIGHT onto BUSBEE DR NW.
    Turn RIGHT into the parking lot immediately past the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Center sign.

    OR

    Take I-575 S.
    Take the CHASTAIN RD exit, exit number 3.
    Turn RIGHT onto CHASTAIN RD.
    Move to your left-hand lane on CHASTAIN RD.
    Turn LEFT onto BUSBEE DR.
    Turn RIGHT into the parking lot immediately past the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Center sign.

  • Parking enforcement - All parking areas at the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Center are no-fee, open access, and no parking permit is required. Please avoid reserved spaces (Handicapped, Loading, Faculty/Staff, or numbered reserve spaces) unless applicable. Note that if you are attending the wprkshop on a football game day, you will need to tell the attendant (if any) that you are attending a conference at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Center, not parking for the game. 

  • There are several reasonably priced hotels near ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Center, all less than a mile away, and all with available Wi-Fi.
