Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger. 草榴视频 CARE is excited to bring Empty Bowls to our 11th Annual Homelessness Awareness Week event.

We invite you to have lunch and fight hunger by purchasing a handmade ceramic bowl designed by our current 草榴视频 Ceramics students and alumni and the Mudslingers' Ceramics Club! Bowls will be filled with lunch provided by 草榴视频 Dining Services.

During lunch, there will be an informational program about sustainability and food waste. The program will raise money to help 草榴视频 CARE fight hunger, raise awareness about the issues of food insecurity, and help bring about an attitude that will not allow hunger to exist.

Participants will select a bowl when they arrive at the event. Lunch will be served in your personal bowl in which you will take home afterwards. The lunch will be gluten-free and bowl selection will be first come-first serve.
